The four-day 2023 Taipei Smart City Summit & Expo opened at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2. Themed “Digital Transformation Creates a New Peak for Smart Cities,” this year’s exhibition was the largest in its history, with the organizers inviting guests from many countries to visit, while also planning diverse exhibition zones for visitors to experience the latest technology interactions up close.
Making good use of technology, elevator transformation is within reach
Owlsome Tech showcased the application of the LiFTMiND elevator intelligence system, bringing a physical elevator into the exhibition hall to give visitors a more immersive experience. On-site, LiFTMiND was demonstrated to have high expandability and adaptability, capable of integrating various elevator infrastructure functions, allowing elevator management to be monitored in real time via a cloud platform. It also showcased the powerful active entrapment detection system, which can integrate two-way video to enhance rescue mechanisms, earthquake early warning functions, elevator traffic analysis, and customized voice commands—using a digital management platform and diverse smart building application solutions to help strengthen urban governance and build a low-carbon, safe, and livable city.

Combined with a full-capacity detection system to reduce ineffective elevator door opening/closing and component wear, this reduces running distance by nearly 20%, while also saving more waiting and riding time—continuing our efforts toward energy savings, intelligence, and safety for the cities and environments we serve.
