During the exhibition, AoXiang Smart, as a technology partner, assisted various robotics manufacturers in showcasing the integration of robots and elevator systems, achieving seamless full-building service coverage.

As the hospitality industry accelerates towards intelligence and automation, the introduction of robotic services is no longer just an innovative topic; it is a pragmatic choice responding to multiple pressures within the industry. With a long-standing shortage of human resources, increasing pressure towards net-zero carbon emissions targets, intense competition over service experiences, and evolving consumer preferences, hotel operators are actively seeking innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and service flexibility.

Firstly, the hotel industry in Taiwan and globally has long faced challenges with finding front-line service personnel and high staff turnover rates. Coupled with long work hours and irregular shifts, maintaining stable operational costs remains challenging. In this context, introducing robots to perform tasks such as delivery, welcoming guests, and room service support can alleviate labor pressures while providing 24-hour uninterrupted service capabilities, thereby strengthening overall operational stability.

Secondly, in response to global ESG trends and net-zero carbon policy demands, hotel operators are gradually incorporating low-carbon operations into their core objectives. By integrating robots with smart scheduling and optimized movement paths, not only can energy waste from elevators and facilities be reduced, but it also aids in the digital management and tracking of carbon footprints, serving as a practical means of achieving intelligent energy savings.

Moreover, modern travelers' expectations for service experiences continue to rise, especially among younger demographics and international guests, who increasingly demand 'contactless services,' 'instant responses,' and 'technologically enriched experiences.' The introduction of robots can enhance the immediacy and consistency of services while contributing to a younger and more differentiated brand image.

Unique Elevator Solutions

Innovations in elevator technology manifest in various aspects, such as enabling carbon reduction, smart maintenance, and voice-controlled operations. However, these advancements are usually limited to new installations. But what about the nearly 300,000 old elevators across Taiwan? Should we neglect them or undertake the costly task of fully replacing them?

"But I don't need those smart features; I just want an elevator that works!"

Perhaps not everyone requires carbon reduction or voice-controlled elevators, but older elevators face safety challenges. If an older elevator traps someone and they're unconscious without anyone knowing, especially with recent frequent elevator incidents, an add-on intelligent elevator system will be an invaluable aide for everyone!

"Wait, so it's an add-on elevator?"

"No, we're introducing an add-on intelligent system that, much like putting headphones on your existing elevator, grants it the features of a smart elevator!"

This also effortlessly resolves the aforementioned safety issues. Our intelligent elevator system offers two features to enhance safety:

Trapped Passenger Detection System: Should someone in the elevator fall unconscious or be unable to call for help, the system triggers an alert, sending notifications to management personnel such as building managers or security staff.

Two-Way Communication System: Upon detecting a signal of an unconscious or trapped individual, the system enables two-way communication to determine if an ambulance is needed or to calm passengers inside.

Seismic Nearest Landing: Our system integrates with various early warning signals, by default connecting to signals from the National Earthquake Center. During an earthquake, the elevator will land at the nearest floor to facilitate evacuation.

Who says you must spend a fortune on a brand-new elevator? In fact, for just 1/10th the cost of a new elevator, you can achieve a safer elevator experience!

A Different Kind of Elevator Solution

The innovation in elevator technology manifests in various aspects, such as achieving carbon reduction, smart maintenance, and voice-controlled operation. However, these features seem limited to new elevators. What about the nearly 300,000 old elevators across the country? Should we ignore them or replace them all?

“But I don’t need those smart features; as long as the elevator works, it’s fine!”

Perhaps not everyone requires a carbon-reducing, voice-controlled elevator, but old elevators primarily face security issues. Imagine if someone were trapped or unconscious in an aging elevator without anyone knowing, especially with recent frequent elevator accidents. That’s why an external smart elevator system can be a great ally!

“Wait, is it an external elevator?”

“No, we’ve introduced an external smart system, which, like putting headphones on an existing elevator, brings it smart capabilities!”

And there you have it, security issues are resolved effortlessly. Our smart elevator system offers two functionalities to enhance elevator safety:

Trapped Person Detection System: When someone faints or cannot call for help themselves inside the elevator, the system triggers a detection alert, sending a signal back to the personnel like building managers or security staff.

Two-Way Communication System: Upon receiving a signal of fainting or being trapped, the system activates a two-way communication feature to determine whether an ambulance is needed or to provide reassurance to passengers.

Nearby Earthquake Halt: Our system can integrate with various early warning signals, such as those from the national earthquake center. During an earthquake, it stops at the nearest floor to facilitate a safe evacuation.

Who said upgrading elevators means breaking the bank for new ones? In fact, with just one-tenth of the cost, you can achieve a safer elevator experience!
