With a long-standing shortage of human resources, increasing pressure towards net-zero carbon emissions targets, intense competition over service experiences, and evolving consumer preferences, hotel operators are actively seeking innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and service flexibility.
Firstly, the hotel industry in Taiwan and globally has long faced challenges with finding front-line service personnel and high staff turnover rates. Coupled with long work hours and irregular shifts, maintaining stable operational costs remains challenging. In this context, introducing robots to perform tasks such as delivery, welcoming guests, and room service support can alleviate labor pressures while providing 24-hour uninterrupted service capabilities, thereby strengthening overall operational stability.

However, if these robots cannot autonomously use elevators and move across floors, they will fail to truly offer comprehensive service capabilities throughout the entire building, limiting the full potential of their role in hotel operations. Thus, elevator integration becomes a crucial milestone in realizing the practical application of robots, which is precisely the core intention behind the LiftMind system launched by Soaring Intelligence.
LiftMind is an intermediary elevator software solution designed specifically for smart buildings and robotic applications. With its modular architecture and flexible API interface, LiftMind can swiftly connect with various elevator control systems and mainstream robot platforms, enabling robot vendors to rapidly achieve capabilities like "cross-floor movement, autonomous action, and precise dispatch" without disrupting the existing building environment.
During this exhibition, a variety of robots equipped with LiftMind technology appeared at the venue, including room service robots, food delivery robots, and cleaning patrol robots, all successfully demonstrating cross-floor processes. This showcased an intelligent hospitality scenario where robots autonomously complete tasks without human assistance.
